BBC Video Clip Profiles Remote Region of Tanzania Where Amizade Works
In the spring I wrote an extended post on progress toward Millennium Development Goals through the lens of a particular region in rural Tanzania. That region, Kagera, is profiled in this three-minute BBC clip. While the report does more to chronicle deprivation and injustice than it does to celebrate the successes and progress that Kagera has made during the last two decades, it does share important work by a strong, community-based organization there, Friends of the Children of Tanzania.
